Yesterday, as I was looking back on International Women’s Month (which is celebrated in March for those who have no clue what I am referring to), I started jotting down what I learned, shared and experienced throughout women’s month. Looking at the list now, boy did I learn..thus I took it upon myself to share these FACTS with you as a closing remark to an incredibly remarkable month…
1. The goal of Feminism is NOT to suppress/subdue/oppress/abuse/dehumanize men.

2. The goal of feminism is NOT to “feminize” men or TO MAKE MEN DO LAUNDRY AND CHANGE DIAPERS….

…but IT IS for women to BE ACKNOWLEDGED AS HUMAN BEINGS AND BE GIVEN AND AFFORDED THE same chances as men.

The desire of every feminist everywhere is that NO woman be discriminated against because of GENDER, THE SAME WAY NO HUMAN BEING should be discriminated against based on skin color or disability.

The same way YOU WANT TO BE GIVEN A FAIR CHANCE IN THIS WORLD WITHOUT YOUR SKIN COLOUR OR DISABILITY HINDERING YOU IS THE SAME WAY WOMEN WANT TO BE given a chance to shine without their womanhood being seen as a curse.
